OCTOBER IS VOCATIONAL SERVICE MONTH

ProjectLINK can serve as a valuable resource for Rotarians as they focus on Rotary's second Avenue of Service, Vocational Service. Small business training, vocational scholarships for disadvantaged youth, vocational training for adolescent girls and women, and setting up training centers for the unemployed are examples of projects Rotary clubs and volunteers can choose to support. ProjectLINK also includes model club and district projects such as career planning for graduating high school students, microcredit business start-up, and teaching ethics, values, and leadership.
