April Students of the Month

Kaylene McDonald is a 5th grade student at Elger Bay Elementary and is the daughter of Don and Heidi McDonald. She has one brother, Carlton. She has been active in basketball, honor choir, horseback riding and is president of K-Kids, a community projects group. Her favorite subject is music and math. Kaylene enjoys Western horseback riding, sewing, and drawing. She is actively involved in her church. Kaylene plans to be an orthodontist and would like to have a horse riding arena for kids with disabilities./////Chris Easter is a 5th grade student at Elger Bay Elementary and is the son of Paul and Tammy Easter. He has one sister, Mattea, and lives at the south end of Camano Island on 5 acres. He has been active in the peer mediation program at his school, science club, junior golf, and basketball. His favorite subject is math. He is actively involved in his church. Chris plans to attend college and wants to be a paramedic. He also plans to go on foreign missions to help needy people.
