The Stanwood Camano Rotary is seeking applicants for its Youth Exchange Program.  This exciting program was begun in 1929 by Rotary International and connects more than 8,000 youth with opportunities in more than 160 countries.

  "This program is an asset in our community because one of our own youth gains life experiences that may affect each of us while we also are able to host an exchange student in their absence," said Jim Jonson President of the Rotary Club.

Applicants must be between 15 and 19 years of age, currently attend high school, and have average or above average grades.  Children of Rotarians or non-Rotarians are eligible.  More information, including application materials, is available at www.StanwoodRotary.org or by calling 360-722-7811.

  The Stanwood Camano Rotary Club will provide more than $40,000 for community projects during the next twelve months including warm coats for children in need, student scholarships, foreign exchange opportunities and the Imagination Library which provides free monthly new hardcover books to children from birth to age five within the Stanwood Camano School District's boundaries.
