The 2025 Stanwood-Camano Rotary Parade is casting its spell and inviting you to be a part of this enchanting community event!
This year's theme is Magic, so get ready to unleash your creativity and showcase your most spellbinding floats, costumes, and performances.
Sponsorship letters have already been sent out to several businesses, but there's still room for more magic to happen! If you're interested in sponsoring this beloved community event and helping to make it a success, please reach out to Kathy Moe at stanwoodrotaryparade@gmail.com.
Spread the word and let's make the 2025 Stanwood Camano Rotary Parade the most magical one yet!
For the first time in 15 years you can purchase a picket for the fence at Rotary Adventure Playground at Freedom Park!
The playground turns 15 this May and unfortunately the fence must be replaced.
Replacing the entire fence is a huge project and expensive. Our plan is to replace the posts and skirt boards with recycled plastic materials that have a 50 year warranty!
Purchasing a picket helps to offset some of the cost but not all of it. Each picket is $45
Limited to 850 pickets, but enough to buy one for each family member!
We are excited to connect with all the new families with this opportunity! If you originally purchased a picket in 2010, you will need to purchase a new picket if you want to keep a name on the fence.
Freedom Park is looking for a welder / fabricator to help build a frame on the back of the welcome sign. FPA would like to hang plywood across the entire back.
This will become the home for the original park pickets from 2010 to honor all those that helped build the playground.
Hopefully we can add some art and turn the eyesore into something amazing!
Btw...PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE ANY PICKETS FROM THE FENCE! It's a safety issue and we need to keep the fence functional.
Last week at the Rotary Board Retreat, the Community Grants Committee reviewed the latest bunch of applications. The committee decided to award The Caring Place with $1,000 to restock their shelves with much needed products for teens and women.
