SC Give is the local Giving Tuesday Event for the Stanwood Camano Community!
 
Giving Tuesday is Tuesday, December 3. If you live local, give local, to SC Give! They are hosting 24 projects from local nonprofits to be funded by the community in 24 hours.
There will be matching donation prize funds ALL DAY LONG.  Visit www.scgive.org to learn all about these great organizations and the way they are meeting needs in our community.

Currently Enrolled:  891 Children
Graduated:  2,590 Children
 
Last week Heather added books to the Little Free Library at Freedom Park!
 
 
Undeliverable books that were returned from the Imagination Library were added as well as some used books.
 
If you have any used books that you would like to donate to the little library, please bring them to our next Rotary meeting in December, or let Heather know and she will be happy to pick them up.

Save the Date for the Santa Run Food Drive December 17th!

Fire department staff will escort Santa on a convoy throughout various Stanwood neighborhoods, gathering food for the Stanwood Camano Food Bank.  Our club will be on hand to with members dressed as Santa and to collect food donations.

North County Fire & EMS firefighters decorate a fire engine with colorful holiday lights, and play festive music, setting the stage for Santa to spread holiday cheer. Residents meet volunteers at the sidewalk to give food donations, and children patiently wait for a high-five greeting from Santa.
