Honoring Hank

All current and past members of the Stanwood Camano Rotary Club are invited to participate in honoring Hank Alkema on January 24th at the regular meeting. Hank has been a Rotarian for 35 1/2 years and as a charter member has been integrally involved in our club from the beginning. He has provided leadership, guidance and stability over the years and served as President in. Hank provided his legendary "Rotary Minutes" to help educate our members about Rotary, and spoke many times about his personal experiences in the bank trust business, and about memorable characters from his past. Overall, Hank has been a pillar of strength for the past 14 years. We will be giving him a plaque for his past service and announcing that Hank has been made an Honorary member of our club. We will encourage happy dollars for kind words about Hank. Spouses are welcome.
