100% Paul Harris Club Photo

At the District 5050 Conference on June 2nd, the Stanwood/Camano Rotary club received recognition and a banner as a 100% Paul Harris Club.  District Governor Rod Thomson and District Foundation Chair Rob Martin presented the award.   The Stanwood/Camano Rotary club received a standing ovation and a lot of kudos from Rotarians in attendance.

Also, at the District Conference, four club members were recognized with awards.   David Lipscomb, JoAnn Lipscomb, Michael Ganz and Stephen Morach were recognized as Charter Members of District 5050's Paul Harris Society.    These members have agreed to contribute $1000 per year to the Rotary Foundation.  If anyone else would like to join or get more information, see Stephen Morach.

Also, I wanted to give thanks to all who participated and/or contributed to our Relay For Life Team.  We raised $2,196.00 and counting so far.   Donations can still be made through the end of August either online or with a check payable to American Cancer Society.   See Stephen Morach to make contributions or for more information.
